The bar can be set up inside or out (weather dependent). But must be on the ground floor. The bar is very heavy and is manoeuvred by wheels. It cannot be lifted up stairs.

If you wish to have the bar outside, it is your responsibility to provide sufficient weather protection at the event. onTap Hire reserves the right to deny set up outside if there is risk of water damage at the desired location.

The bar requires electricity, ensure the there is a power outlet nearby or get in contact with us to discuss further

No, a liquor licence is not necessary for private events or events held on private property. However, if your event is in a public space or a licensed venue, you will need to check with your local council or venue operator to arrange the necessary licensing. onTap Hire does not hold a liquor license.

Yes, you can source your own alcohol if you wish. However, you must inform us in advance to ensure compatibility with onTap Hire’s system/setup. Additionally, you will need to arrange for the collection/return of these kegs. As well as ensure that they have been adequately stored prior to tapping.

We have small supply of 425ml Beer Glasses. Please enquire if you would like to add these to your hire.

We provide free delivery and collection for any venue within 20km of Tauranga central. We can also service the greater Bay of Plenty region and Waikato with a travel fee. Please contact us for a quote.
